Gloucester-Cumberland Tween AA Devils
at the 2004 Provincial AA Championship

The Tween AA's won the Silver Medal,
losing 4-3 to Nepean in the Championship Game.

Nepean opened the scoring half way through the opening stanza with two goals in a row to take a 2-0 lead. The Devils Lindsay Pennock closed the gap just 13 seconds after the second Nepean goal. That's how the first half ended, 2 - 1 for Nepean. Tia Toko tied the game 45 seconds into the second period and Carolyne Desjardins put the Devils in front 3 - 2 shortly after that.Nepean scored the next two goals 20 seconds apart with 5 minutes to play to win the game and the Gold Medal.

To get to the final the Devils had to beat cross city rival Nepean 4-3 in the 1-2 Semi Final. Their 3-1 win against Elora-Fergus put them in a tie for first place with Nepean in the round robin. In the Page Playoff System, Nepean played the winner of the other semi final between teams 3 and 4 in the standings. The GCRA Tweens finished the round-robin undefeated, beating Whitby 5-4 in overtime. Caroline Desjardins scored the overtime winner seven and a half minutes into the period. Tia Toko had a career day scoring all four goals of regulation time for GCRA.
