The "Gloucester Polar Bears" Novice Rec-2 Ringette Team
The Polar Bears are having a wonderful season, having won 4 games and
lost only two. * (actually we lost three, but they moved that team
up to another division so we won't count them any more... *smile*)
Game 1.... Oct.23.... 3-4 loss
Game 2.... Oct. 30... 5-1 win
Game 3 ... Nov. 7.... 1-15 loss
* (against Gatineau....now in different division)
Game 4.... Nov. 13... 1-5 loss
Game 5 ... Nov. 21... 9-1 win
Game 6.... Dec. 5.... 4-2 win
Game 7.... Dec 12.... 8-3 win
The kids are having a blast and it's unbelievable how quickly they are
progressing. In addition to the league schedule the Polar Bears had a wonderful trip
to beautiful downtown Nepean for their Annual Invitational Tournament. Our
Bears did quite well.
Our coaching staff is dedicated and thorough and it is showing
with the wins and how well we did in the Nepean tournament. We won our first
game 5-0 against Gloucester C1, tied our second game 5-5
against Kanata and lost 4-2 against Nepean. We missed the finals based on
goals for and against by "1" goal. A terrific time was had by all and we
look forward to the Gloucester tournament in the New Year to build upon
the kids success and fun in learning ringette.
