We're getting ready
for a new season of rinks and rings. Enclosed is your pre-printed
registration form. Please note, this year there is a LATE
FEE of $50 for registrations received or postmarked later
than August 24th.
This year there will
be two Walk-In registration sessions:
Tuesday,
August 14, 2007 from 6:30pm - 8:30 pm
Orleans Rec Centre (Upper Foyer
Hallway)
and
Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Barrett Arena at Leitrim

Those wishing to pay by instalments
may do so by providing 3 post-dated cheques following the payment
schedule below:

Upon registration, 50% of registration
feel. |
|
|
Cheque dated September 30th,
the next 25% of the full registration fee. |
|
|
Cheque dated October 30th, final
25% of the full registration fee. |

| To help promote this wonderful
sport, GCRA is offering once again a $100 discount to any child
who; is new to the sport of Ringette, pays their registration
fee in full and, is entering at the Novice or above levels (born
in 2000 or before). Spread the word to your friends! As well,
this fall there will be a "Come and try Ringette day".
Only skates will be needed as the rest of the equipment could
be supplied. Pre-registration will be a must to be able to participate.

The 2007 tryout and
evaluation schedule will be posted on the Association
website during the last two weeks of August. If you do not have
access to the internet and would like a schedule, please contact
someone on the GCRA Executive and we would be pleased to inform
you. Tryouts for the AA level will take place first. If your
child does not make the AA level, then she will be entitled
to tryout for the A level at no additional fee. Those that do
not make the competitive teams will play at the Houseleague
division.
Due to major maintenance going
on in the various city arenas, please check the Web site regularly
as last minutes change could happen. It is also the best way
to keep you informed of the various programs your association
offers during the year.

May 23, 2007, the Executive for 2007-08 was elected. The Executive
has been working diligently to prepare for the upcoming season. Your
