COMING UP THIS SEASON?
Ø	There has been increase in registration fees due to the following reasons.
	-	Upcoming purchase of new playing sweaters.
	-	Increase cost of ice.
	-	Increase in cost to register players with the Ontario Ringette Association and Eastern Region.
Ø	The Player Development Committee is planning Power Skating and Skills Sessions for all players to be available during the regular season. Please check the Web Site regularly for dates and how to register.
Ø	We are looking for some more volunteers to fill some key positions. If you are interested, please contact a member of the executive and they will provide more information.
Ø	The 2004 Tryout Schedule will be posted on the Association website during the last two weeks of August. If you do not have access to the internet, we would be pleased to mail you a tryout schedule if you telephone us at 830-9124 - just leave your name and address on the recording.

New beginning

At the Annual General Meeting of May 19, 2004, the Executive for 2004-05 was appointed. Since that time, the Executive has been working diligently to prepare for the upcoming season. Your Executive for 2004-05 is as follows:

We would like to thank all those who help out and encourage new volunteers to join. Please contact one of the Executive members if you can spare a couple of hours during the tryouts or help with the tournament, or if you are interested in one of the appointee positions.

Registration

Enclosed is your pre-printed registration form. If any of the information is incorrect, please make corrections in the area provided. The completed form and cheque for the appropriate amount should be forwarded to the GCRA Registrar at the address shown. Any new registrants must provide a copy of their birth certificate. Proof of age is requested when registering players with the Ontario Ringette Association.

Those wishing to personally deliver their registration form can do so at the walk-in registration scheduled for Thursday, August 19 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Orleans Recreational Centre, Hall C in Orleans.

Anyone interested in coaching is asked to contact Bob Kunimoto (Competitive League), Byron Johnson (House League) and Pete Blier (Player Development, Novice)
