WELCOME HOME FROM ORLEANS ONLINE

The Gloucester Open AA Devils won the Canadian Ringette Championships with a 4 - 3 Overtime Win against favoured Alberta. Their Semi Final Game against B.C. 5 - 4 also in overtime, took them to the Gold Medal Game where heart, desire, toughness under pressure won the day. The Ottawa Junior AA, representing Ontario won the Bronze Medal, losing a hard fought 7 - 6 game also against B.C. The Ontario Open team finished in 2nd place in round-robin play, while the Ontario Juniors finished the round-robin in third place. The Gloucester Belle AA's represented Ontario as well. After winning their first four games they lost both games on Thursday by a goal. They finished in 5th place with a four and four win/loss record.

National Champion's Gloucester Devils were accompanied on this incredible journey
by Jackie & Jenn Gaudet of Cambridge, Erin Rourke of Pickering and Keely Brown
of Kitchener, Sudbury, Toronto. They are not in the team photo above, but as you
can see they factored in beautifully in the total picture enroute to the Championship.
