Over the years, the Gloucester-Cumberland Ringette Association has had an impressive record of achievement in tournament, provincial and national play. Last year, six of our "A" and "AA" level teams participated in the Provincial Championships held in Ottawa and Upper Ottawa Valley in March 2005 and three won medals. Three of our six teams won the sportsmanship award in their respective division.

In April 2005, one Gloucester-Cumberland team represented the province of Ontario at the Canadian Championships in Winnipeg and brought home a silver medal and the sportsmanship award from the Canadian Championships.

Recognition does not come easily and our achievements are not only due to the hard work of all program participants but also to the financial support of our community friends.

Would you be willing to spend a portion of your advertising budget on a ringette team or player? A summary of the sponsorship commitment and benefits is attached. In return for your generosity, we promise to be a credit to your organization by always showing good sportsmanship, true dedication and commitment to ringette and the community.

Organizers and participants must continually seek alternate methods of offsetting operating expenses. Any contribution you would wish to make will greatly assist athletes participating in competitive ringette on the Gloucester-Cumberland teams. The support that you provide is essential for the continued competitive opportunities of athletes in Gloucester-Cumberland.

We have attempted to make the sponsorship package cost effective and attractive in order to justify your involvement. We are anxious to discuss other sponsorship incentives that you may suggest to continue to attract business dollars. We hope that you will also consider the importance of supporting amateur athletics in return for the satisfaction of helping the city's youth participate in healthy physical activities.
