Ottawa Police Records Check

Beginning with the 2006/2007 Season all Coaches and Bench Staff MUST complete a Police Records Check before
8 Jan of the Current Playing Season to be eligible to participate in Sanctioned Play.    A copy of the form has been
linked here for Bench Staff located in the Metropolitain Ottawa Area. Bench Staff located out of Ottawa are required
to obtain a copy from their own police force.

ERRA has updated the Coaching Development Section with
a list of Trainer Qualifications required to be a Trainer on
a Teams Bench Staff in ORA Sanctioned Events.

CLOCK OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Following are the Operating Instructions for Clocks used by GCRA.  Two of the Arena Ice Surfaces have independent Shot Clocks. The others are built right into the Main Clock. Some of these instructions are in PDF Format and some are photos in jpg Format. Those in jpg format may appear small. If you double click on them they will appear in full size. (which may be too large for some computers.)

The clocks at Potvin, Blackburn and Barrett West are to be picked up at the rink conveners desk. They are exclusive to ringette and are simply plugged in using the same electrical cord from the clock in the time keepers bench. This is aimed at protecting the integrity of the new shot clock remotes at these rinks.
